As of August 2022, WWO is no longer active as a volunteering service. We thank you for your enthusiasm to make an impact by spreading kindness.
We encourage you to continue sending messages and letters to healthcare workers, the elderly, and children despite this service closing. The resources on our website will point you towards some resources you can use.
WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
Here at Writing Wonders Organization, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2020 because of the COVID-19 response, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion for the range of activities we are involved in. Through all of our endeavors, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs. We believe that supporting others through simple acts of kindness may go a long way. We are dedicated to charitable purposes by providing letters, art, and messages to healthcare workers, the elderly, and children.
We are a Youth Organization and an unofficial Non-Profit Organization that hasn't registered as a "Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization." This may complicate the validity of the community service hours if you are using it as proof for legal matters, however, it is perfectly okay if you are using it to earn hours for school. Furthermore, we're based in New York City, New York!
WHO DO WE SEND TO?
Writing Wonders Organization is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. Instead of primarily sending hand-written cards to these organizations, we concluded that we should provide the option of hand mailing and virtually mailing these letters. Sending out mail during this COVID-19 pandemic can be risky and we wanted to provide an option that is safe for everyone involved.
