In Regards to the Formatting of Letters, Community Service, and Joining the Team

WHAT'S THE LAYOUT FOR A GENERAL LETTER?

Your letter can remain anonymous but can also contain your name. Do not provide personal information such as your address, phone number, etc. It must be appropriate to the topic without mentioning dark themes, religion, and other controversial topics. You can follow the format below:

Dear Reader,

(Here it is suggested that you talk a little bit about yourself, why you're sending this letter, your thoughts, etc. If it allows you, you may also attach art and quotes.)

Sincerely, (Your Name)

WHAT CAN I SEND TO EARN SERVICE HOURS?

Depending as to which organizations you're sending your works to, you may send:

• Letters/Poems: Both handwritten and typed.

• Slideshows (Minimum 7 slides).

• Art (both digital and drawn but you'll have to take a picture of the drawn piece and attach it.)

• Quotes (with designs in the background). You may use apps like Canva to create pictures and upload them in your email.

However, you may not send the following if you're volunteering with us.:​

• Religious text, beliefs, etc.

• Mentions of death.

• Homophobic, transphobic, sexist, racist, remarks (implicit/explicit) or offensive humor.

WHO READS THE LETTERS?

The receivers you give them to would receive the letters whether those people are healthcare workers, children, or senior citizens. We're unsure about the amount of people that read your letters or view your artwork, however we are sure that these letters are sent to these places via email.
